Poppy Miller
Senior Assistant Psychologist
Poppy graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Gloucestershire in 2021 and went on to complete an MSc in Forensic Psychology at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Her academic research focused on motivational factors behind offending in female ex-offenders and the impact of protective factors on self-harm in low-secure settings.
Poppy is currently a Senior Assistant Psychologist specialising in harmful sexual behaviour. She has previously worked as a Psychology-Led Practitioner in a Criminal Justice Drug and Alcohol Service, where she delivered psychological interventions, consulted with multidisciplinary teams, and developed psychologically informed assessment and treatment materials. Prior to this, she held Assistant Psychologist roles in both a low-secure CAMHS unit and an adult forensic mental health service, supporting individuals on low-secure pathways. Across these roles, she has gained experience in psychological assessment, individual and group interventions, staff training and consultation, and producing clinical reports. She has worked closely with multi-agency partners including Social Services, the Police, HM Prison and Probation Service, and HM Courts and Tribunals Service.
